AFRISPA REGISTERED OFFICE IS SET UP IN MAURITUS

Following the first general meeting of the African Internet Service Providers Association (Afrispa) organised in Johannesburg during Internet Week 11-14 Septembre 2002, it was decided that the registered office would be set up in Mauritius. It is likely that other operational functions will take place in other countries. Afrispa's founding members were drawn from the following countries: Ethiopia, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Malawi, Rwanda and Zimbabwe. Afrispa has been set up to defend the interests of African ISPs and to promote the development and accessibility of the internet on the continent.
